Adkins Consulting is a registered woman, and veteran owned business based out of Durango, Colorado that specializes in a wide array of environmental services. Adkins Consulting was founded in 2003 by Maria Adkins and has grown to provide services throughout Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, and Arizona.
Throughout the years we have provided services for environmental permitting and maintained professional relationships with company personnel, tribal staff and authorities, and federal agency decision makers. We are diverse in our proficiency from small scale maintenance projects to multi-agency, large scale construction endeavors.
We have an educated and experienced staff that has knowledge in many fields including NEPA and ESA compliance, environmental biology, threatened and endangered species surveying, wetland delineations, surface use planning, and GIS analysis and mapping. Our staff is dedicated, reliable, professional, and successful at getting the job done. It is our goal to provide service that is both efficient and cost-effective.
Applicable trainings and certifications held by ACI’s staff include:
- Permitted by USFWS to survey for Mexican Spotted Owl, Southwest Willow Flycatcher, and Yellow-billed Cuckoo
- Current on 40-hour HAZWOPER certification
- GIS Certification
